400 MHz Wide Bore Solids NMR

The University Instrumentation Center’s newly renovated NMR facility in Parsons Hall now houses a 400 MHz Wide Bore Solid State NMR spectrometer equipped with a Multi-Nuclear Magic Angle Spinning (MAS) probe. NMR is a non-destructive analysis technique with wide-ranging applications for, but not limited to, insoluble materials, biological and polymeric samples, and materials science derived samples. This spectrometer was shut down in May of 2010 due to building construction has been restarted and is now open for use. Please contact Dr. Patricia Wilkinson for more details and sample submittal.
