I attended the 2013 Annual Meeting of the Licensing Executive Society (LES), held in Philadelphia from September 22-25. As I’ve mentioned in an earlier blog post, LES is an international association of members with an interest in the transfer of technology, or licensing of intellectual property (IP) rights - from technical know-how and patented inventions to software, copyrights and trademarks.
I recently attended the Licensing Executives Society (LES) University course on Strategic Licensing: Advanced Tools and Practices. Esteemed peers from the US and Canada, case studies with twists and turns, and an experienced roster of instructors made for a very interesting and informative week – despite 8 hours a day in a windowless room!
I recently had the pleasure of attending the Annual Licensing Executives Society (LES) meeting in Toronto, Canada. Aside from enjoying the local fare and nearby sites, I received the rewarding experience of networking with industry, government and university professionals as well as gaining insight on new licensing opportunities and methods.
