Philip Collins received a BS in Computer Science from UNH. As a student, he began working for the UNH Research Computing Center in 1999. He became a staff member in 2001.
Phil is the lead software engineer for the NH State Crash Reporting Management System, the USNH online Events Management System, UNH Chemical Environmental Management System (UNHCEMS®), and the award winning Environmental Response Management Application (ERMA®). He is also responsible for developing and maintaining several eCommerce applications and interfaces to USNH's financial system, which have contributed over $15M to the University System of New Hampshire.
Philip Collins is a member of the Gulf of Mexico ERMA team that was honored by Government Computer News for building one of the top ten government websites of the year. He is also a member of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Geospatial Platform team that was nominated for a Service to America Medal in 2011.
