If you opt to “Change PI” you will be presented with an alphabetical display and associated drop down list, as shown below. Select the first letter of the last name from the display (this will pre-load names into the list). Now scroll through the list until you locate the Project PI. You can also “Search for a particular entry” by entering the last name of the individual after selecting from the alphabetical display.

Click “Close” when ready to continue (If your PI has multiple appointments, be sure to select the correct associated department shown next to each name. This will become the proposals “Primary Associated Department”.

NOTE: You can select “Cancel” at any point to abort the process, or you can click “Back” to return to the previous step.

a.   After selecting your Project PI, keep the default selection of “Create a New Proposal” at step 1 and click “Continue to Next Step”.
