Selecting the Opportunity Number

Selecting the Opportunity Number

Comprehensive How To Guides > Creating Proposal Submissions > Starting a New Proposal > Selecting the Opportunity Number

    1. The next step is a continuation of Step 1; this is where you enter the proposal opportunity number. If you already know the number, or if your proposal does not have an opportunity number, choose “Setup Proposal Manually” and click “Continue to the Next Step”.
    2. Confirm PI and Continue

To find an opportunity from a listing of “Grants.Gov” or “SPIN” opportunities, select the appropriate option and continue. In this case, you will be presented with a search screen. Manually enter any known information to filter the results. For example, using the “%” key as a wildcard, enter “47.05%” to find CFDA’s starting with “47.05”. When the opportunity list appears, click the “Select” hyperlink to load the opportunity specifics into the wizard. This is shown below.

    3. At step 2, make sure that the selected value of the proposal type is “New Proposal”. Then click “Continue to Next Step”.
