Lunch workshop for investigators invited by U.S. Dept. of Energy to submit a full application to DOE Early Career Research program in 2014.

Workshop will provide:

  • review of requirements in FY 2015 FOA
  • highlights of pertinent points from the FAQs
  • advice from prior/current UNH DOE ECR awardees
  • answers to administrative questions by UNH Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) representative

Understanding Funding in the U.S. Department of Education

The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) is the primary research arm of the U.S. Department of Education (US ED).  IES operates differently from the other US ED divisions, with its own proposal format, scoring system, and review process.  Developing a better understanding of the purpose, structure, and initiatives of IES – within the context of the Department – will enable UNH researchers to be more competitive with their proposals.

Info Session: National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)

Come to this session to learn more about the prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).

There will be an NSF PowerPoint presentation followed by a panel discussion with current UNH NSF-GRFP fellows and a UNH faculty member. Panelists will share their experiences with the NSF application process, as well as the opportunities they have enjoyed with their NSF funding.

2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance)

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has combined many federal circulars, including A21 and A110, into a single guidance document that can be used by all agencies.

This combined document is known as "Uniform Guidance." These new regulations will become effective on December 26, 2014.
