The U.S. Office of Research Integrity (ORI) oversees and directs Public Health Service (PHS) research integrity activities on behalf of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (except for certain regulatory activities for the Food & Drug Administration).  Last year, ORI closed four cases involving plagiarism, and its module for Avoiding Plagiarism continues to be one of the most visited resources on the ORI website.  With the increasing attention on plagarisim, including by universities, federal agencies, and journals, ORI focused a recent newsletter on the topic.  Read more at  http://ori.hhs.gov/blog/ori-newsletter-focuses-plagiarism
