Research Excellence and Support

Introduction to resources available at UNH to support the research, scholarship, and artistic activities of faculty presented at the Provost's Orientation for New Faculty.

Primary Audience: 1st year faculty

Attendance: By invitation; RSVP required

New Faculty Orientation to the Research Office

Welcome by Jan Nisbet, Senior Vice Provost for Research, followed by presentations by Research Office service unit staff to acquaint new faculty with:

  • Strategies, resources, and proposal development assistance to support research and scholarship at UNH
  • How to “navigate” the UNH system to submit proposals for external support
  • Critical information about responsible conduct of research and scholarship that applies to all types of research, teaching, and advising students who conduct research
