General Information

InfoEd Proposals exist within two distinct modules, Proposal Development (PD) and Proposal Tracking (PT). The Proposal Development Module is used by researchers to develop, route and submit proposals online to Grants.Gov. The Proposal Tracking Module is used by Sponsored Research Administrative staff to track the status of your proposal and manage post-award data.

When you develop a new proposal in PD, it automatically builds a template into PT for tracking. PD and PT share information such as personnel and budget data. You can view, create, or modify your own proposals in PD, or act as a delegate for someone else if they have granted you access but you can usually only view your own proposals in PT. You cannot view someone else’s proposals without delegated authority or specific permissions. This means if you cannot locate a proposal within the system, you may not have access to view it.

To locate your proposals within InfoEd, there are several methods and search filters you can use:

  1. Show List
