UNH’s Dept. of Energy (DOE) Early Career Research support program begins with an August information session for untenured tenure-track assistant or associate professors, no more than 10 years beyond the Ph.D., working in areas of interest to DOE’s Office of Science*.  An October session will cover how to write a competitive full application for the November deadline.

The information session will cover:

  • Overview of the DOE ECR Program and pre-application process
  • Assistance with identifying DOE program/sub-program “fit”
  • UNH and external  consultant resources available for pre-application review and continued assistance for applicants invited to submit full proposals

Note:  Although the actual FY18 Funding Opportunity Announcement has been delayed, DOE nevertheless expects that pre-applications will be due during the first week in September, 2017.

If you plan to attend the UNH information session (or want to submit but can’t attend), send your project title (or a very short project description of 2-3 sentences) and CV to Ruth.Davis@unh.edu by August 18th.

Please register by 5:00 PM on August 22nd.
