In this 1.5-day workshop, you will gain an understanding of  thefunding requirements and applicaiton process for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs and to learn how to craft a compelling, competitive application.

You will learn how to:

  • Find a solicitation and define your project
  • Understand the review process
  • Prepare the components of your application
  • Approach commercialization planning
  • Prepare an NIH budget
  • Navigate the electronic submission process
