In past years effort certification was completed by distribution, signature, and return of paper forms (Personnel Activity Reports) to the Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) office. The FY13 effort certification will be completed online and paperless. The online system is accessed through the employee self-service web page for WISE. Completing all effort certifications by September 30 is an important financial compliance requirement and failure to complete the certification may cause a sponsor to disallow the related costs. If an employee fails to complete his/her effort certification within the required period, no further proposals will be submitted nor awards accepted by UNH for the employee/PI/PD until the certification is completed. Please complete your effort certification before the deadline.
