Orders for all hazardous chemicals and regulated biological agents should be shipped to the Chemical Transfer Station using the instructions listed below. Orders for the Chemistry Department should be shipped directly to the Chemistry Stockroom. Packages weighing more than 75 pounds (34 kg) require special arrangements and must not be sent to the Chemical Transfer Station. All packages received at the Chemical Transfer Station are delivered to the end user the same day they are received. Online ordering is the preferred method because both you and OEHS receive a confirmation email. This will assist us in scheduling deliveries. Also, before you order, check the UNH Chemical Surplus List at the online inventory https://cems.unh.edu/unh/CEMS/index.html#1 where the chemical may be available at NO COST.

NOTE: Single containers which weigh more than 75 pounds (43 kg) should not be shipped to the Chemical Transfer Station, since we do not have the capacity to deliver these items. In such cases, arrange to have the items shipped directly to the lab, then notify Andy Glode to arrange to have the material(s) bar-coded.
