Patricia Stone Wilkinson Honored with Unsung Heroes Award

May 06, 2014

On May 2, 2014, Patricia Stone Wilkinson ‘88 of the University Instrumentation Center was awarded the UNH Chemistry Department’s Unsung Heroes award.  The Chemistry Department gives this award for going above and beyond in service of the department.

An example of Pat’s outstanding support to the Chemistry Department is her collaboration with Chemistry Graduate Coordinator Howard Mayne on a new resume writing workshop.  Pat has also worked with undergraduate students on their resumes as part of an undergraduate senior seminar class for Chemistry students.

Here’s Pat’s response to receiving the Unsung Heroes Award:  “I’m truly honored to receive this award and am grateful to have an opportunity to give back to the department from which I learned so much as a student.”

John Wilderman, the Manager of the UIC said, “I’m very proud of Pat's achievement and involvement with the Chemistry faculty and students. This type of involvement both exemplifies Pat's willingness to go the extra mile and the UIC's willingness to get involved with the students on many different levels."

Everyone from Research Computing and Instrumentation wishes Pat a hearty congratulations.
