The UNH Responsible Conduct of Research and Scholarly Activity (RCR) Committee announces the availability of training in the ethical and responsible conduct of research.   

This training opportunity involves two components:

In 2011, the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) revised its financial conflict of interest in research (FCOIR) regulations regarding research funded by it or its component agencies (e.g., the National Institutes of Health; see list [here]).  These regulations are effective August 24, 2012.

The University of New Hampshire (UNH) must comply in its research and scholarly activities with federal and state laws and regulations regarding the use of controlled substances.  These laws and regulations are promulgated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHSS).  Not only is compliance an institutional responsibility, it is also a matter of safety for UNH faculty, staff, and students as controlled substances can be extremely dangerous.
