NSF is Finalizing its FY 2013 Spending
On March 1, 2013, as required by law, President Obama issued the sequestration order, under which NSF budgetary resources were reduced by $356 million. Yitang Zhang Provides Major Step Toward Long-sought Proof Involving Pairs of Prime Numbers
UNH mathematician Yitang Zhang has made a major breakthrough towards solving a centuries-old problem - the twin prime conjecture. His results show that finds that there are infinitely many pairs of prime numbers that are less than 70 million units apart. Chemical Engineer Xiaowei Teng Receives Prestigious U.S. Dept. of Energy Early Career Research Award
