Campus and Community Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Committees

The Campus Community Alcohol and Other Drug Coalition. Membership includes faculty, staff, and student representation from the University, as well as local town representatives (police, schools, parents, town council, businesses and youth). This group was started in response to a call from New Hampshire College and University Council of Presidents to address the issue of underage drinking and high-risk alcohol use in collaboration with the colleges and towns.

The University of New Hampshire also has representation on the New Hampshire Higher Education Alcohol, and Other Drug Committee. This group, which was once a committee of the New Hampshire College and University Council and is now a free stating organization has been in existence since 1983. It has representation from colleges and universities from across the state and it works together to address the issue of alcohol on campuses within the state through policy development and implementation, research, education and training for its member schools.
