The Procurement Services Office is responsible
for ensuring the proper disposal of University owned equipment, supplies or
materials that have been declared surplus property. Property Control is responsible
for maintaining the Property
Control System which maintains records on all USNH equipment. Equipment
which was purchased with grant or contract funds, or that may be listed as capital
equipment (see: http://finadmin.usnh.edu/pol_proc/chapter_11/pro11_020.html

Search for items offered to other departments within the University System and to the general public. Item(s) are listed for fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of posting. The University reserves the right to accept an offer after 7 days.

Submit an offer electronically after searching by clicking the "Details/Submit Offer" button
Surplus can be transferred or sold to a department within the University System for departmental use. This option is available when a recipient is already known. Otherwise, surplus must be advertised. (See option below for Sell/Advertise).
Surplus can be donated to a non-profit organization. This option is available when a recipient is already known. Otherwise, surplus must be advertised. (See option below for Sell/Advertise).
Departments
can advertise surplus on the website to find interested departments within
the University System or to offer for sale to the general public. To complete
the on-line form, you must be a member.
Departments
can request that an item be scrapped if it is not worth selling (obsolete
equipment may still have value). Use this feature only for items with no
current value.
