Faculty Orientation 2012

Welcome to the University of New Hampshire faculty.
On August 20, 2012 the Office of the Provost will host the annual orientation for new faculty members from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m. at the Elliott Alumni Center in the 1925 Room.
At approximately 2:00 p.m., UNH President, Mark Huddleston will host a reception on the patio of the 1925 room.
If you bring the completed Parking Permit request and your payment with you to the first day of orientation, your permit will be available for you before the orientation is over. On Aug. 20, please do not use the parking lot for the Alumni Center - you can park in the Woodside Lot (green). Most of you will not yet have your parking permits when you arrive in the morning, so please download the identifying card for your dashboard. On Aug. 21, you can park in C Lot (behind Fairchild Hall - blue). C Lot has a fee attached. You can also park in B Lot (between McDaniel Dr. and Academic Way - blue). This lot is free with your UNH parking permit. You can walk along Quad Way to come to Holloway Commons. Take the Main Street entrance into Holloway and go one flight up to find the Piscataqua/Cocheco Rooms.
On Tuesday, August 21 from 9:00 a.m. – noon (continental breakfast at 8:30am), you will meet with Human Resources at Holloway Commons, Piscataqua/Cocheco Rooms to review your Benefit packages. After the Benefits meeting, you will be able to have your picture taken for your UNH ID in the ID Office. The ID office is on the same level as the Benefits orientation.
The registration form pertains to all pieces of the orientation days. In order to allow us time to accommodate those with special needs, please complete and submit the on-line registration form by August 10.
After the orientation is over, we would appreciate your evaluation. This survey will assist us in future year's orientation.
