Caitlin Baummer

Caitlin is studying in Vienna right now—lucky! So since she can’t write her own bio, here’s what we know: Caitlin loves music and can sing ridiculously well—you have to hear it to believe it. She is an awesome person and very involved on campus. Her absolute favorite student organization on campus (and soon yours too) is Oxfam UNH. This is her third year as PrOVES staff and first year as senior staff.

Katie Brym

Hi everyone! I am a senior Design and Theatre Technology major with a minor in Business. This is my fourth year being part of the PrOVES staff and my second year as senior staff. I’m involved in a few things on campus including the Diversity Support Coalition and Oxfam UNH. I also work at the Writing Center on campus. This summer I am interning at the Prescott Park Arts Festival, an outdoor arts festival, and I’m really sick of all of the rain.

Laura Loy

Hola! I’m a theatre major entering my senior year at UNH. Some highlights of my college career include spending a semester abroad in Argentina, acting in several UNH Theatre productions, and (of course) being a part of PrOVES. My most recent adventure was a super hardcore backpacking trip in the White Mountains. I love to laugh and sing, and I do sing and laugh ALL the time; I have a song for just about everything, from ducks to sardines. I can’t wait to meet all the wickedmegaawesome (a word of my own devising) new PrOVErs!

Amanda Flitter

Amanda left us all this semester to go study in Argentina, but we’ll forgive her. Amanda likes to watch The Office, Sex and the City, and anything on the Discovery channel. She works at the Writing Center on campus and is always smiling. One of her favorite quotes is: "Es a traves de las pequenas cosas que uno puede acercarse a las grandes.” (But we’re not quite sure what that means).

Derek Switzer

Hey I’m Derek and I’m a junior Mathematics major. I also may become an actuarial science major. Yes, I am a dork. I also enjoy being lazy and relaxing in the summer. I am a participant in UNH Rotaract to help with community service. I look forward to meeting all of you! Peace.

Ryan Sylvia

Ryan is a senior from Fairhaven, MA. He likes the outdoors and community service. He is involved in Rotaract on campus. He is a member of the “Addicted To Super Smash Brothers,” “I Have Dining Hall Road Rage,” and the “I Will Go Slightly Out of My Way to Step On that Crunchy-looking Leaf” facebook groups. Last summer, Ryan was an umpire, which we think is pretty cool.

Laura Baldinger

Yo! I’m a sophomore Mechanical Engineering major. I am from the San Francisco Bay Area and cannot use ‘wicked’ naturally in a sentence. I love to swim, play water polo, eat In-N-Out Burger, and watch Curb Your Enthusiasm. I’m involved with Oxfam UNH on campus. This is my first year as a PrOVES staff member and I’m incredibly excited.

Hey everyone! I’m Laura, a going-to-be junior at UNH. I am a double major—anthropology and Women’s studies—with a minor in Spanish. I’m super involved on campus and I absolutely love UNH. This will be my second year as a staff member and I’m so excited to meet you all.

Nick Jean

Hey guys, I’m Nick! I’m a junior Mechanical Engineering major. I am part of the FSAE racecar team and drive a sweet motorcycle. I like to go fast, like Ricky Bobby. I am interning at the Portsmouth shipyard this summer. I hope to make lots of money so I can go even faster. Catch you on the flipside. P.S. I have the greatest roommate ever! Courtney Lynch

Hi! I’m Courtney. I’m a Junior English Education major and love it (despite the constant flow of ten page papers). I am involved in UNH’s Greek life. I am also involved with Greek Intervarsity, a Christian organization for anyone involved in Greek life at UNH. I have a poodle. I’m terribly afraid of spiders and flying bugs (including butterflies). I love scary movies but I’m always THAT girl who screams when no one else does. I love UNH and can’t wait to come back in the fall!

Joe Gabriel

Hey everyone, I’m currently a sophomore Mechanical Engineering student. I play basketball, soccer, football, the piano, and many other sports. Celtics are the bomb and the Patriots are equally great. I love helping people out and enjoy it when people are happy. I have my boating license and my snowmobile license also.

Gail Winsor

I’m a sophomore from Swanzey, NH. I’m a communication major and a sports studies minor. I’m really outgoing and love being active. I love soccer, swimming, snowboarding, softball, wakeboarding, and going to the beach. I often get scolded for laughing too loud in public. Can’t wait to meet all of you in August.

Hello, I will be a sophomore in the fall and I am an undeclared major with a minor in Women’s Studies. I love UNH, cheez-its, sunflowers, happy faces, and pickles. I am involved with Oxfam UNH (come to our meetings!), Relay for Life, and Seacoast Reads. I am so excited for PrOVES and to meet all of the new PrOVErS!

Allie Kovalik

Hello, my name is Allie. I am a sophomore here at UNH and I am currently undeclared. I absolutely love UNH!!! This is my first year as a PrOVES staff member and I can’t wait! I love the ocean and iced coffee and anything chocolate. Some of my on campus activities include Oxfam UNH and I was a member of my hall council! I’m really looking forward to PrOVES and meeting you!
