Program Description:

Summarizes proper nutrition for physically active individuals so they get the most out of each exercise period. Emphasis is on increasing strength and muscle mass while reducing undesirable body fat in a healthy manner. How many calories should a person consume to lose weight? This presentation includes an engaging and colorful Powerpoint presentation and plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion. It is intended for healthy adults with an active lifestyle; no previous knowledge of nutrition is expected.

Dennis Bobiliya

Dr. Bobilya received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in 1989 and has been a professor of nutrition at the University of New Hampshire since 1991. He have been teaching courses in sports nutrition, nutritional biochemistry, mineral nutrition, and vitamin nutrition. His goal is to optimize the health, fitness and performance of physically active individuals, especially athletes, through the application of scientifically sound nutrition. All of Dr. Bobilya's presentations will promote learning through a fun and engaging presentation.
