Program Description:

Throughout history, the development of new instruments provided humans with new- sometimes disturbing- understanding of the universe. What were some of these instruments, and what new instruments are on the horizon?

Thomas Laue

Thomas Laue, Ph.D., U. of Connecticut, is the Carpenter Professor biochemistry at the University of New Hampshire. He is the director of both the Biomolecular Interaction Technologies Center and the Center to Advance Molecular Interaction Science. His research is directed toward the development of direct physical methods for determining properties of macromolecules.
