Caps and Gowns
Candidates have a number of opportunities to purchase a cap and gown for Commencement. (Please note only cash and checks are accepted at campus locations. Online orders can be paid by credit card). Cap and gowns can be purchased at the following times and locations:
May 18-21
10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Elliott Alumni Center
May 22
10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Elliott Alumni Center
Class of '59 Reunion Fund Challenge
The Class of 1959 has contributed $2,009 to the Class of 2009 Reunion Fund and challenges undergraduates to match their donation. University Cap and Gown will be collecting for this fund during the cap and gown distribution.
Prices
All associate, bachelor, and master candidates must purchase gowns because the negotiated buying price is less than the cost of renting.
- Associate's and Bachelor's caps and gowns are $15.35 ($12.85 for cap and gown with an optional $2.50 contribution to the Class of 2009 Reunion Fund).
- Master's cap and gown is $25.00.
- Doctoral candidates have the option of renting or purchasing. Click here for pricing and ordering information.

Students eligible for University Honors Program stoles and University Scholar cords will receive them as a part of the Honors Convocation on May 22.
