    Photography

    Staff photographers are available for on- and off-campus assignments to document University events, faculty research, programs, conferences, and activities, as well as studio assignments including portraits and product photography (paintings, sculpture, prototype equipment, etc.).

     

    In-studio portraits for individual is $36.00.

     

    The hourly rates for assignments are:

    Passport Photos

    Passport photos at the University of New Hampshire

    Passport photographs can be made while you wait, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday on Floor G, Dimond Library. Enter through back door of Dimond Library. There is no access to our offices through Library. Please call (603) 862-2432 in advance to ensure staff is available.

    The color photographs come in sets of two for $10.00. Additional sets of the same person are half price.

     

    Payment can be made with check or cash and correct change is appreciated.

     

    Digital Images

    With the addition of our Resource Space digital asset management system and client server, we are able to deliver digital images through the network to you. You may choose images from our collections or we can provide photographic services for your specific needs. By delivering images with the use of digital web galleries, clients can view their images and download low resolution versions for immediate use on department web sites and on-line publication.

     

    Images from our digital archive can be purchased for $6.00 each. Scans from your original materials or from our traditional archive are priced below:

    We have the latest film and flat bed scanners to provide the sharpest reproductions from transparent and reflective material. All high resolution scan prices include color correction and the removal of light dust or scratches.

     

    Additional image enhancement, restoration, or manipulation is available at $40.00 per hour. Customers can provide portable media to transport their scans, or we can send images or burn files to CD.

    Archival Prints

    Epson Printer

    You can have custom archival prints made on a variety of papers. To provide the finest image quality and stability available, we use Epson printers, papers and ink. We have added the Epson Stlyus Pro 4900 and 7880 Ultrachrome ink printers to our production equipment and with our Epson 9600 we can produce prints up to 44" wide. Large format printing prices start at $7.50 p/square foot.

    Photography of Art

    We provide two digital photography options of art.

     

    If you only require monitor resolution for web or on-screen viewing, we provide 1024 x 768 images for $2.00 each. The minimum set up charge is $36.00.

     

    High resolution digital photography of art is $6.00 per exposure. The minimum set up charge is $36.00.

     

    Please call (603) 862-2432 in advance to make an appointment. Work should be delivered to the photography studio and the client is expected to handle the work during the session.
