The Paul Creative Arts Center (PCAC) is UNH's center for the fine and performing arts on the Durham campus. Built in 1960, PCAC brought together arts programs from various locations at the University of New Hampshire. It has since become a center for study and enjoyment of the arts, housing three academic departments—Art and Art History, Music, and Theatre and Dance—plus the Museum of Art and the University’s Celebrity Series. The facilities include a 688-seat proscenium theater, a flexible-seating black box theater, a recital room, a 4,500 square foot art museum, practice rooms, art studios, and faculty and program offices.

The History of the Paul Creative Arts Center is the story of the increased importance of the arts at UNH through the middle of the 20th century. Learn more...
