Summer in Italy
Painting in Italy
(tentative: last week in May to the end of June)
Application deadline: December 9 (late applications accepted based on space availability)
This is a five week/ four credit painting course. We will travel to Venice, Padua, Rome, Florence, and other important sites in Italy. The rich artistic and cultural heritage of Italy will be experienced first-hand in numerous museums, churches, and archeological sites. When not on the road we will paint for 4 hours per day in and around the city of Ascoli Piceno. When traveling, work will be done in drawing and water media. Participants are housed in comfortable apartments located within historic center of Ascoli Piceno.
