Parents Council
General Information
Working on behalf of all UNH Parents - because at UNH Parents make a difference.The UNH Parents Council is a group of hardworking, energetic, and involved group of 34 undergraduate parents who volunteer to administer and oversee the Parents Association’s activities, programs and awards.
The Council meets 4 Saturdays, during the school year, September, December, March and May, to conduct the business of the Association. The Association has an on campus Director who works closely with the UNH administration on the behalf of the Council and the Association.
Each member of the Council is asked to serve on a Council standing committee and if possible be involved with a secondary committee. (See our Council organizational chart (PDF).) During our 4 yearly meetings, the committees meet to conduct the detailed business of the Council.
There are many opportunities for parents to get involved and help out with the Parents Association’s activities.
