- As Associate Director of the Northeast Consortium, has developed and administers a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) funded, UNH-based research program that encourages and funds effective, equal partnerships among commercial fishermen, scientists, and other stakeholders to engage in cooperative research and monitoring projects in the Gulf of Maine and Georges Bank.
- As Assistant Research Professor of Environmental and Natural Resource Policy in the Department of Resource Economics and Development, conducts research on communication and collaboration in regional governance and integrated management, principally in a coastal, marine and ocean resource context.
- Has undertaken applied research and program evaluation projects with Sea Grant Fisheries Extension program.
