Where is the Scholarship in Outreach Scholarship? 
The terms "outreach scholarship," "engaged scholarship," and "engagement" often mean different things to new academy participants. At the outset, we work to develop a common understanding of these terms among our scholars. We also consider and discuss the UNH institutional context, disciplinary differences and the national context and trends. Then, scholars use the "Clearinghouse & National Review Board for the Scholarship of Engagement" evaluation criteria to determine whether selected case studies and their own projects proposals meet the standards for engaged scholarship.
