Lessons Learned 
Since the academy began in 2004, we have learned several key lessons that now help guide the program. In large part, these lessons reflect ongoing assessment of the impact and effectiveness of academy components. We request that you acknowledge the University of New Hampshire, Office of the Associate Vice President for Research and Outreach Scholarship, in all materials or publications that arise from the use of this Web site.
You'll want to survey scholars before the academy begins, after graduation, and at various intervals between to capture data that will help you improve the academy experience and build support and interest among faculty and institutional leaders.
