2. Audits

PIs/PDs should keep all written documentation of award expenses and project outcomes in a safe, secure place such that the records can easily be made available to auditors or investigators.

PIs/PDs are responsible for participating in audit/investigation reviews of awards they have managed, in coordination with OSR and BSC staff. PI/PD involvement may include producing expense records and documentation, meeting with auditors, and participating in any final resolution of audit findings.
