Non-federal sponsors may publish guidelines for allowability, allocability, and reasonableness in their Request for Proposals (RFPs) announcements or in general information available about themselves or their programs. In addition, PIs/PDs should refer to and follow the specific award terms and conditions.

In the absence of other guidance, PIs/PDs will be well-served to follow federal guidelines and USNH policies.
