In addition to a proposal narrative and accompanying budget, most sponsors require completion of application materials specific to the sponsor and/or the funding opportunity, Request for Proposals (RFPs), or other solicitation type. The PI/PD is responsible for making sure that the application is complete and properly assembled at the time of proposal submission.

Many sponsors now require electronic applications. PIs/PDs should consult their OSR GCA* well in advance of the sponsor deadline for application completion and assistance so the sponsor will receive the entire proposal package by the sponsor’s deadline.
