Addressing sponsor priorities in the proposal narrative and ensuring the proposal is formatted according to sponsor guidelines are PI/PD responsibilities.

PIs/PDs may contact OSR’s PPD Manager for further information or assistance with the proposal writing process or to clarify sponsor priorities and guidelines.

Most sponsors have policies limiting their use of proposal content for funding merit only. However, to maximize protection of information the PI/PD might consider confidential or proprietary, the PI/PD should place the following notice on the proposal title page and specify the information subject to notice by inserting pertinent proposal page numbers in the notice.
