Guidelines for Fisheries and Aquaculture Applications (7/17/09)

The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) has developed guidelines for individuals who submit applications to the IACUC for fisheries/aquaculture projects. The guidelines are based on past IACUC reviews of these types of projects. The guidelines are available at http://www.unh.edu/osr/compliance/support/fisheries_guidelines.pdf.

IRB Fall 2009 Meeting Schedule (7/15/09)

The Institutional Review Board for the Protection of the Human Subjects in Research (IRB) has set its Fall meeting schedule for reviewing applications qualifying for Full Board review . Rate Schedule revision (7/1/09)

The “Rates Schedule” for budgeting UNH sponsored programs proposals has been revised to incorporate the recently-approved Graduate Student Tuition rates for AY09-10 and inflation factor for subsequent years; drop the FY09 and AY09 column; add an FY14 and AY14 column; incorporate the final Graduate Student Health Insurance rate for AY09-10 and inflation factor for subsequent years; change Footnote 4 (Tuition) to reflect the updated mandatory technology fee, tuition and tech fee inflation factors after AY09-10, and note about tuition for students enrolled only in doctoral research; change Footnote 5 (Health Insurance) to reflect an updated inflation factor after AY 09-10; and changes to inflation factors for budget purposes only for AAUP faculty salaries and non-AAUP salaries.

Compliance Information Sheet Now Available (5/4/09)

The Compliance Information Sheet is designed as a tool for faculty, staff, and students to help promote awareness of issues, and to ensure compliance with certain requirements associated with research, scholarly, and teaching projects/activities. The Compliance Information Sheet provides the following: Specific topics that have compliance requirements; contact information for assistance; Web-based resources providing additional information; and where applicable, key words, examples, and potential sources of material, by topic.

Intellectual Property Web-based Module (4/22/09)

Life Cycle of a Grant (4/22/09)

OSR has developed a new resource entitled Life Cycle of a Grant, available at http://www.unh.edu/osr/training/awardlifecycle/   

The purpose of the module is to provide the UNH sponsored programs community with a phase-by-phase outline of the entire grant process from searching for funding sources to closing an award. Each phase provides a list of the major activities that must occur, key personnel involved (with links to their contact information), and links to necessary forms and/or pertinent resources.
