Recovery Act (ARRA; Stimulus Bill) Funding Opportunities:

Because of the nature of the programs and the short response time provided in many cases, most of these LSPs will be handled as institutionally coordinated proposals.

Please share your interest in submitting a proposal to a particular funding opportunity with the SVPR and find out how that selection of proposals for that program will be handled.

Also, share your interest with the research liaison for your unit so they can help coordinate collaborations. (Click HERE for a list of the liaisons)

The funding opportunities listed below have limits set by the sponsors upon how many proposals may be submitted by UNH.

Standardized procedures have been implemented to facilitate a fair and strategic University-wide process to select the proposals to be submitted to these programs.

Internal competitions for programs of high interest will be announced by the office coordinating the selection. For these programs, a Note indicates the responsible office.

For all other sponsors/programs, please indicate your interest in applying by sending a 1-2 page summary of your intended project to the Senior Vice Provost for Research (SVPR) no later than 2 months before the sponsor's deadline.

Please include the sponsor's name, the specific program name, the deadline date and a URL for the program guidelines (or attach a copy of the guidelines).

If more PIs indicate interest than the number of proposals allowed,
the SVPR and an Advisory Committee will make strategic choices
re: which proposals will go forward from UNH.

If it is past the internal deadline (i.e., within 2 months of the sponsor's deadline),
contact the SVPR to see if there are any remaining openings.
