The Thompson School’s Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS degree) programs provide men and women a solid foundation of knowledge and practical experience in an exceptional learning environment emphasizing pathways for career entry upon graduation. Program requirements for all Thompson School students include the following: a minimum of 3 credits in mathematics; a minimum of six credits in communications (one must be COM 209 or equivalent); one course in computer literacy (minimum of two credits); and two courses in social science (minimum of six credits). To complete the AAS degree requirement of 64 credit hours in four semesters, students follow an established sequence of courses for their respective program areas.

A math placement assessment is administered to all incoming students as part of their orientation to UNH/TSAS.
