OUR MISSION

OMSA creates opportunities for people to participate in an inclusive community and to explore and understand diversity, injustice and equity.

Our work is grounded in understanding diversity that includes people of all abilities, ages and ethnicities, genders, nationalities, races, religions/spiritual traditions, socio-economic classes and sexual orientations.

Providing support and development for African American/Black, Latina/o, Native American and Asian/Pacific Islanders, as well as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning students is at the heart of our work.

OUR VISION

OMSA envisions an inclusive community of learners where there is a shared commitment to social justice and pluralism, thus preparing principled leaders to contribute to an ever changing diverse society.

WHERE WE'RE LOCATED

OMSA is located on Level 3 of the Memorial Union Building, adjacent to the Information Desk. The closest building entrance is at Circle Drive.

Directions by car to UNH can be found here.
Durham is approximately 10 miles from Portsmouth, 40 miles from Manchester and 70 miles from Boston.

The Memorial Union Building - called "the MUB" by everyone on campus - is set on a hill overlooking Main Street, and is easily found on this map.

Visitors to UNH can park in any faculty/staff parking lot for free after 6:00 pm. This includes B, J, R and U lots - all of which are within 5 to 7 minutes' walk from the MUB and are also featured on this map.

T lot - adjacent to Thompson Hall - has metered parking. Metered parking is also available on Main Street. The Town of Durham has a metered municipal lot on Pettee Brook Lane (in the lower left corner of the map), which is also 5-7 minutes' walk from the MUB.

Parking spaces for persons with disabilities (with a valid parking permit) are located on the MUB Circle Drive, at the top of the hill near the main entrance to the building.
