** International students are required to purchase the Student Health Benefits Plan from UNH as a condition of enrollment.
In order to bring a dependent you must show proof of additional financial support:
- $8,000 for the first dependent
- $6,000 for each additional dependent
Actual costs may exceed these estimates. Health insurance coverage for dependents is strongly recommended. University assistantship stipends are generally not sufficient to cover dependent expenses.
