Research Topic: Climate Reconstruction of the North Pacific Region using Ice Cores

Advisor: Dr. Cameron Wake

Description of Research

I will reconstruct the climate of the North Pacific region over the past 1000 years using cores retrieved from Eclipse Icefield, Yukon Territory, Canada.  The ice core climate proxy data will be calibrated with recent instrument records and then this relationship will be applied to the pre-instrument time period of the ice core.
