The symposium for Northern
New England JSHS Region and Southern New England JSHS Region are conducted in collaboration
with the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS), the College of
Life Sciences and Agriculture (COLSA), and the Joan and James Leitzel Center of the University of New Hampshire.
The Academy of Applied
Science, located in Concord, New Hampshire, is a nonprofit educational
organization and is dedicated to the promotion of invention, innovation, and
scientific achievement. The Academy of Applied Science administers the JSHS
program under grant with the military and in cooperation with nationwide
universities and other educational institutions.
The research offices of the
United States Army, Navy and Air Force sponsor JSHS.
JSHS has been endorsed by the National Association of
Secondary School Principals for inclusion on the NASSP National List of Student
Contests and Activities.
