The UNH Outing Club
The NHOC serves to provide the students of the University of New Hampshire an opportunity to experience the outdoors. The club offers trips throughout the year to the White Mountains, and thorought the northeast. Popular activities include hiking, backpacking, canoing, rock climbing and skiing. The club, founded in 1911, is the oldest at UNH. It currently owns two cabins in the White Mountains, which can be rented for a fee. Gear can also be rented. The club maintains an office, Room 151, in the Memorial Union Building.
