Hi ho, Hi ho. To hike the Hancocks we go! (4/2-4/3)
Trip Type: Hiking Trip Level: Advanced
Leaders: Shippie, Eric Trip Cost: $10

Join Eric and Shipinabottle as we knock out two 4000 footers on this approximately 10 mile hike. We’ll be hiking Mt. Hancock and South Hancock, providing a great trip for the beginning of spring (but still winter in the whites). This is a Friday evening- Saturday evening trip, with us staying in the club’s cabin in Franconia notch Friday night.

Leadership Training (4/16-4/18)
Trip Type: NHOC Leader Making! Trip Level: All-levels
Leaders: Current NHOC Leaders Trip Cost: $5

Are you interested in becoming a leader in the New Hampshire Outing Club? Then come to Leadership Training, the first step toward becoming a leader! We’ll spend the weekend at Franky cabin, where we’ll discuss topics such as outdoor skills and group leader techniques, and take a hike up to Lonesome Lake.

Killin’ It in the Kinsmans (4/24-4/25)
Trip Type: Backpacking/Hiking Trip Level: Intermediate
Leaders: Eric, Brian, Irene Trip Cost: $10

Start the hiking season off by summiting two of New Hampshire’s 4000 footers, the Kinsmans! Rough it at the AMC’s Kinsmans Shelter on Saturday night and then top out on the 2 peaks before heading back to UNH on Sunday.

Sunday Sunblock Sombreros (4/25)
Trip Type: Hiking Trip Level: All-levels
Leaders: Chris, Trevor, Brady Trip Cost: $5

Cool Cids hike Chocorua. Come get off campus for a day and hike Mt. Chocorua, a classic beautiful hike right here in NH.

Rock Out at p-way (4/24)
Trip Type: Rock Climbing Trip Level: All-levels
Leaders: Joe and Natalie Trip Cost: $5

Come Come join our former NHOC president Natalie and our current NHOC Vice president on an awesome rock climbing trip. We will be climbing the rocks at Patuckaway state park. There will be climbing for all levels on some awesome top Rope routes.

Mt. Mitchell May Day Mayhem (4/30-5/2)
Trip Type: Epic Road Trip with some Hiking Trip Level: Intermediate
Leaders: Tyler, Eric, Jake Trip Cost: $15

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Spend May Day on the summit of the tallest Mountain East of the Mighty Mississippi River! This 11.2 mile hike will be the midpoint will be the midpoint of our 1700 mile road trip! Drive from New Hampshire to North Carolina for the sole purpose of hiking a mountain? Psh this is college, live a little!!

Paddle Fest(5/2)
Trip Type: Canoeing Trip Level: All-levels

Come join the boys on an epic paddle and take advantage of the brand spanking new NHOC boats! Destination TBD.

A Mid Morning Meander on Majestic Mt. Moosilauke (5/1-5/2)
Trip Type: Hiking Trip Level: Advanced
Leaders: Shippie, The Captain, Andrew Trip Cost: $10

The Captain saw his first Moose recently and to celebrate we gonna hike Mt. Moosilauke. We’ll be leaving campus mid-day on Saturday and hike up to the Beaver Brook Shelter where we be stayin the night. Then we’ll sunrise hike the summit on Sunday and be back on campus by the evening.

Moats and Mini-Golf(5/7-5/8)
Trip Type: Hiking/Mini-Golfing Trip Level: Intermediate
Leaders: Trevor, Brian Trip Cost: $10 plus mini golf fees

Crash at the club’s Jackson cabin, hike some mountains, and play some minigolf in North Conway, NH.

Je suis Steezy (5/8)
Trip Type: Hiking Trip Level: Beginner
Leaders: Chelsea, Joe Trip Cost: $5

Looking for a low key way to get to the mountains before finals? This relaxing jaunt up Cannon Mountain will give you beautiful vistas and plenty of fresh air before you have to coop yourself up in the library.

Cadillac Sunrise (5/8-5/9)
Trip Type: Camping and Hiking Trip Level: Beginner
Leaders: Dan, Tyler, Kirsten Trip Cost: $10

Come experience the feeling of being the first people in the U.S. to see the Sunrise! The sun reaches the Peak of Cadillac Mountain as the first piece of land in the United States every day, and we intend to be on the top to see the sunrise! Think of the bragging rights “I was the first person in the nation to see the sunrise!” We will camp in Acadia National Park, hike around on Saturday and summit for the sunrise on Sunday!
