WHAT: "Border Crossings and Boundary Definitions" interdisciplinary graduate conference at the University of New Hampshire
WHEN: Friday, March 31, 2006, and Saturday, April 1, 2006.
WHERE: Murkland Hall, Durham campus
BACKGROUND: Conference will explore the theoretical and practical implications of border crossings and boundary definitions. Presentations will approach this theme from multi- and interdisciplinary backgrounds, from all fields and disciplines. Featured speakers include Janet Aikins Yount, chair of the UNH Department of English; Donald E. Pease Jr., Avalon Chair of the Humanities at Dartmouth College; and J. Hillis Miller, distinguished professor of research at the University of California, Irvine.
The conference is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the UNH English Graduate Organization.
