Speakers: Governor John H. Lynch (invited); Cheryl L. Killam,
Accessibility Specialist, GCD; Jill Gravink, Director/Founder,
Northeast Passage
Background: The NH Governor's Commission on Disability will
celebrate examples of barrier-free recreational programs, as a
result of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and will highlight
Northeast Passage, a self-funded program of UNH's School
of Health and Human Services, affiliated with Disabled Sports,
USA. Northeast Passage will host an informal afternoon of accessible
handcycling as well as showcase some of their other recreation
and health promotion activities.
This is the sixth in a series of 15 press conferences in observance
of the 15th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
