UNH Seeks Employers For Feb. 11 MBA Business And Technology Career Fair

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics Office of Placement is seeking employers to participate in a graduate business and technology career fair Feb. 11, 2005, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Piscataqua Room of  Holloway Commons, 75 Main St., on the Durham campus.
         
The career fair offers employers an opportunity to meet  MBA graduate students interested in advancing their careers through post-graduation employment, leadership programs and internships. Approximately 125 business, economics and technology students are expected to attend in addition to alumni of the Whittemore School seeking career advancement.
         
Graduate students at the Whittemore School concentrate their studies in business administration, accounting, decision sciences, supply chain management, economics, entrepreneurial venture creation, finance, or marketing. Many students enter the MBA program with prior career experience and are seeking new challenges.

Employers also are invited to register for a free, one-hour workshop outlining “10 Recruiting Best Practices for a Changing Workforce.” The workshop will be presented by Joseph Daniel McCool, editor-in-chief of Executive Recruiter News and its sister publication, Recruiting Trends, both published by Peterborough, N.H.-based Kennedy Information, Inc., which was founded in 1970 and operates as a subsidiary of The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. (BNA, Inc.), a leading information source for Human Resource and other business executives since 1929. McCool is one of the most widely quoted editor/analyst of the global business of executive search and leadership succession consulting.
