Centrix Bank & Trust President To Receive UNH Whittemore School Entrepreneurial Venture Creation Award

DURHAM, N.H. – Joseph B. Reilly, president and CEO of Centrix Bank & Trust, has been chosen to receive the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics 2005 Entrepreneurial Venture Creation “Person of the Year” award.

Reilly will be presented with the award Friday, May 4, 2005, at the 17th annual Paul J. Holloway Business Plan Competition awards luncheon at noon in the Huddleston Ballroom.

Reilly has more than 22 years of experience in the New Hampshire banking industry. He was the chief operating officer and senior lending officer for a former start-up community bank, Centerpoint Bank. Upon the acquisition of Centerpoint Bank, Reilly assumed a senior management position as senior vice president of commercial banking with Bank of New Hampshire, an affiliate of the BankNorth Group, Portland, Maine. Prior to joining Centerpoint in 1990, Reilly was employed in various capacities for 12 years at Fleet Bank. He holds an MBA degree from UNH.
