DURHAM, N.H. – A haunted house, game room and indoor trick
or treating are just a few of the activities that University of
New Hampshire students at Mills Hall have planned for families at
their second annual Halloween Extravaganza. The event takes place
October 29, 2004 at Mills Hall on the Durham campus from 5-8 p.m.
The Halloween Extravaganza is a special event for the greater Durham
community, faculty, staff and students to bring their children and
their Halloween spirit to UNH’s newest residence hall, where
the students will offer trick or treating opportunities, food, games
and a tour—if you dare—of the Haunted House.
“This is a family friendly event, and our goal is to provide
a safe, fun environment for younger children to trick or treat and
enjoy the holiday,” says Jen Scumaci, Mill’s Hall director.
The activities are oriented towards children ages 2-10.
The Halloween Extravaganza is free and open to the public. Mills
Hall is located between the Memorial Union Building (MUB) and Mill
Road at 20 Quad Way in Durham. Parking arrangements have been made
for visitors to park at B or C lot for the event; there will be
signs to direct visitors to the lots.
