UNH Announces Memorial Service For Richard Hegerich

DURHAM, N.H. – A memorial service for University of New Hampshire sophomore Richard Hegerich will be held Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at 12:30 p.m. at the St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on Madbury Road in Durham. A reception will follow.
         
The service will involve UNH chaplains, teammates and friends of Hegerich, and Athletic Department officials. Hegerich attended St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church.
     
Hegerich, a business major from Hanover, Mass., and a member of the UNH men’s swim team, was struck and killed at about 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
