DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire CEO Forum will present
“Working to Keep Manufacturing Jobs in New Hampshire,”
Thursday, April 1, 8-10 a.m., at The Yard Restaurant in Manchester.
Duane C. Montopoli, president and CEO, Hitchiner Manufacturing Co.,
will discuss the company's navigation through the financial difficulties
it has experienced over the past few years, and what it is doing
to preserve jobs. The presentation includes a breakfast buffet and
a question-and-answer period.
Hitchiner is the largest NH-based manufacturing employer with plants
in Milford and Littleton, and in Mexico. The company makes investment
cast metal parts and assemblies for automotive, aerospace, military
and recreational applications.

Initiated in 1997, The CEO Forum is an outreach program of the
UNH Whittemore School of Business and Economics and the Division
of Continuing Education serving CEOs, presidents, and senior managers
of companies in northern New England. The Forum provides its members
with opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with their peers in
business and industry in an informal setting. The CEO Forum is sponsored
